Q. My reasons aren't writing back to my MIS
A. For late arriving or early leaving students checking in/out on the e-Reception Book, an attendance code that is pulled through from your MIS will need to be selected.
You can either show a list of all attendance codes for the student/parent to select (this is how the system is originally set up), or you can create your own custom reasons and attach the applicable attendance code you would like to write back when that reason is selected.
To do this, please follow the below steps:
Once you are happy with the list of reasons you have created, I would recommend toggling off the ‘Disable only attendance codes for this site. If you'd like to disable this, please follow the below steps:

Q. The system has pulled through pupils that have now left
A. This will need to be a change made on your MIS portal. We will need to ensure pupils who have now left the school have a valid end date entered and that they are not listed as 'Active'.

A. If the system has pulled through employees that have now left, this will need to be a change made on your MIS portal. You will need to ensure that employees that have now left their role have a valid end date entered and that they're not listed as 'Active'.
Q. How quickly does the system write back to MIS?
A. The system should write back a late arriving and early leaving students to your MIS portal within a couple of minutes if the e-Reception Book is running online.
Q. How often does the system update my MIS import?
A. The dashboard will update the MIS import at the end of each night. Alternatively, you can manually update this to pull through any new employees/students by doing the following:
Q. I want to stop a specific employee/student from pulling through from the MIS import but I don't want to remove them from my MIS portal. How do I do this?
A. If you have an employee or student that has pulled through that you would rather not have on the e-Reception Book, please do the following:

Q. I sent my employee list, but the MIS import has overwritten this
A. Once your MIS has been connected to your e-Reception Book dashboard, if the employee's list is selected to green (importing), this will overwrite your employee list if the records match.
If you prefer to manually update your employee list and not pull your employee list from your MIS, please do the following:
As the contacts are now marked as Red, this shows they are not importing. This will stop employees from pulling through from Wonde.
After doing this, you will then need to archive all employees that have been uploaded and have the previous list uploaded. To archive all employees, please do the following:
This will then remove the previously imported MIS employees. From here, you can now upload your own employee list by following the below steps:
