Front-Facing Application Changes:
Student & Resident Flow Improvement
The names of students and residents are now displayed on the check-in and check-out pages, providing a seamless and efficient process. Once these names are entered and selected, a convenient transition is made to the offsite page, where further actions can be taken.
Increased Button Visibility On The Front Screen
In order to enhance visibility and improve user experience, it was recommended to consider increasing the size of the buttons specifically designed for students, staff, and residents. By enlarging the size of these buttons, users will be able to easily identify and interact with them, resulting in enhanced visibility and overall usability of e-Reception Book
New e-Reception Book Branding
We have replaced all existing branding with our new e-Reception Book logo and icons across the iPad application and companion app.
Offsite Screen Wording Change
On the late=arrivial and early leaving screens, we have made some wording improvements to ensure the correct details are being entered by students or residents.
Dashboard Changes:
Students Minutes Late Feature
We have enabled the ability to capture student minutes late and write back to selected MIS systems. You can set up the AM and PM registration times from your e-Reception Book dashboard.
Offline Banner Dashboard Alert
In the event that your device experiences a loss of WIFI connection, a distinctive yellow banner will be displayed on the dashboard. This visual cue serves as an indication that the device is currently offline and requires reestablishing its connection to WIFI. It is important to note that while the device remains offline, any check-ins performed on the tablet will not be transmitted to the dashboard. This precautionary measure ensures that data integrity is maintained and prevents any potential loss or misplacement of valuable information during periods of connectivity disruption.
