Overview

This article explains the Invites section on the Custr dashboard, covering how to manage, edit, and create invitations.


What do the invite statistics mean?

On the Invites page, you’ll see the following statistics at the top of the screen:

Upcoming - Total invites made for future dates.

Today - Invites for today compared to the total.

This Month - Invites made for the current month.

Pre-Approved - Invites made for visitors already approved for the month.


How to create an Invite

To create an invite, follow the steps below:

  1. On your dashboard, navigate to Invites

  2. Click the + icon

  3. Select New Invite

  4. Enter the invite details, category, and visitor information

  5. Click Save


How to edit invites

To edit an invite, follow the steps below:

  1. On your dashboard, navigate to Invites

  2. Click on the invite you want to edit

  3. Click Edit in the top right corner

  4. Make your changes and click Save


Invites vs Pre-Approved

  • Invite: A one-time visit for a set date and time (e.g., interviewee).

  • Pre-Approved: Ongoing visits allowed from a set date, with unlimited check-ins (e.g., regular contractors or family members visiting a care home).


How an invited guest can check in when they arrive

Once the invite is created, the visitor will receive an email with a QR code for easy and quick check-in. To see how this works, watch the video below
