How do I add / edit locations?

Learn how to add or update locations using Custr to ensure all deliveries are tagged with the most up-to-date locations.

There are two ways available for adding or editing locations. You can either do so directly through the dashboard, which provides a comprehensive interface for managing your locations, or you can use the Companion app, which offers a convenient and portable option for making changes on the go.


Add Location - Dashboard

To add a location via the Custr dashboard, please follow the below steps:

  1. On the dashboard, navigate to Configuration

  2. Click the Settings dropdown

  3. Then, click Locations

  4. Click Add Locations in the top right corner

  5. Enter the location name

  6. Click Add


Add Location - Companion App

To add a location via the Companion app, please follow the below steps:

  1. Once you have taken photos of the delivered parcel, click Location

  2. Scroll through the dropdown and select Create New Location

  3. Enter the new location you wish to add

  4. Click Create


How to edit a Location - Dashboard

  1. On the dashboard, navigate to Configuration

  2. Click the Settings dropdown

  3. Click Locations

  4. Then, click Edit next to the location name

  5. Enter the new location name

  6. Click Save
