Overview

The couriers section of the e-Reception Book dashboard allows you to manage incoming deliveries by adding, deleting, importing and editing courier details. This provides additional information when logging an incoming parcel for both reception staff and the staff member who is receiving the parcel.


How to Add Couriers to your Account

There are two ways to add couriers to your account. This can be done via the dashboard, or through the Companion app, both of which allow for faster logging of incoming deliveries and better security.

Dashboard

To add a courier via the dashboard, please follow the below steps:

  1. On the dashboard, navigate to Configuration

  2. Click the Settings dropdown

  3. Then, click Couriers

  4. Click Add Courier in the top right corner

  5. Enter the courier name

  6. Click Add

Companion App

To add a courier via the Companion app, please follow the below steps:

  1. On the e-Reception Book Companion App, navigate to Deliveries

  2. Once you have taken photos of the delivered parcel, click Notify

  3. Click Courier and scroll through the dropdown

  4. Click Create New Courier

  5. Enter the name of the courier you wish to add

  6. Click Create


How to Edit Couriers

To edit a couriers details via the dashboard, please follow the below steps:

  1. On the dashboard, navigate to Configuration

  2. Click the Settings dropdown

  3. Click Edit next to the courier name

  4. Edit the new courier name

  5. Click Save


How to Delete Couriers

To delete a couriers details via the dashboard, please follow the below steps:

  1. On the dashboard, navigate to Configuration

  2. Click the Settings dropdown

  3. Click Delete next to the courier name



How to Show Couriers

To show the courier of the delivery when logging an incoming parcel, please follow the steps we have provided below:

  1. On the dashboard, navigate to Configuration > Settings

  2. Click Features under Deliveries & Items

  3. Tick the Show Couriers box

  4. To require the location of the delivery, tick Couriers Required box
