Viewing Device Details

Learn how to view and manage connected devices in your Custr dashboard, including device information and available actions.

Overview

The Devices section in your Custr dashboard allows you to view and manage all devices connected to your system.

This includes iPads used for Check-In and any other connected devices.

From this page, you can:

  • View key device information

  • Check system and app versions

  • Perform actions such as refreshing or disconnecting a device

Accessing the Devices Page

To view your devices:

  1. Go to Configuration → Devices

You will see a list of all devices currently connected to your system.


System Version

This shows the version of iOS currently installed on the device.

  • Devices should be running the latest version, or up to two versions below

  • Keeping iOS updated helps ensure compatibility and performance



App Version

This shows the version of the Custr app installed on the device.

  • Keeping the app up to date ensures access to the latest features and improvements

  • Outdated versions may impact performance or compatibility

IP Address

This is the device’s network identifier when connected to the internet.

  • Useful for IT teams when troubleshooting network or connectivity issues


Device Actions


Refresh

Refreshes the device to apply any recent changes made in the dashboard.

Use this if:

  • You’ve updated settings

  • Changes are not appearing on the device


Disconnect

Disconnects the device from your dashboard.

Use this if:

  • The device is no longer in use

  • You need to reconnect or replace the device



Important Notes

  • Devices must be connected to the internet to update correctly

  • Ensure devices are running a supported iOS version

  • Keep the app version up to date for best performance
