What is contactless check-in?

Contactless check-in is a feature of e-Reception Book and allows visitors to check in and out of your workplace with a QR code and check in using their phone, instead of typing their details on the iPad.

The contactless check-in feature mimics the iPad check-in and allows visitors to have the same check-in experience but on their phone. This means they can still:

  • Read/sign documents

  • Answer custom questions

  • Leave feedback

  • Enter their details

The contactless check-in feature proves exceptionally valuable for settings where minimising the spread of germs is essential, such as hospitals or care facilities.

How to setup a QR code poster from your dashboard

A QR code poster is useful for placing a QR code at different entry points of your building without using an iPad. Please read the guide below to learn how you can set up a QR Code poster.

Remember that a poster is a static QR code and does not change, whereas a dynamic QR code changes every 30 seconds.
